SLIP FALL REZIST - Traction-Increasing Floor Treatment

• Results of tests at an independent laboratory confirmed  Slip/Fall Rezist increases the coefficient of friction of both wet and dry tiles. Results showed that treated floors exceeded the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) published guidelines for floor safety.  Excellent for bathroom and kitchen floors, public entryways, etc. where floors are frequently wet.
  
• Slip/Fall Rezist is different from several traction-increasing products which etch floor surface and remove material to increase traction.  Etching produces significant changes to the appearance of the treated floor.  Rezist, because it does not remove material,  alters surface appearance only slightly because it changes only the reflectivity.
• Rezist is safe for grout.  It will clean accumulated grime from the grout and harden it by the same process as the floor surface.

CARESystems Inc. Slip/Fall Rezist™ is used in two different concentrations- the first an initial treatment mixture and, second, the maintenance mixture. 

CAUTION:  This product may reduce the gloss finish on highly polished surfaces.  Before using, it is recommended to first apply Slip/Fall Rezist to a small patch of flooring in an inconspicuous location and note the results.

Subsequent Applications:

The second mixture, Slip/Fall Rezist™ diluted 32 to 1, makes up the Maintenance Treatment.  This is applied periodically depending on the amount of traffic over the treated floor.  For typically traveled floor areas, about 4 – 5 days should be sufficient.  For more heavily trafficked areas, more frequent maintenance treatments will be required to keep the floor safe from potential slip falls when wet.
